The Borough Administrator is appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council. He is designated by Ordinance 48-15 as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Borough and is responsible to the governing body for the proper administration of his office. The Borough Administrator oversees the day-to-day operations of the municipality, directing and coordinating all departments while also having responsibility for all personnel matters.
The Borough Administrator supervises the financial affairs of the Borough and is responsible for:
Preparation and submission of the proposed Borough budget
Negotiation of contracts
Recommendations concerning public improvements
Monitoring of all purchases
