Celebrating Eatontown’s Sesquarecentennial!

Celebrating Eatontown’s Sesquarecentennial!

The Borough of Eatontown is celebrating our 350th Anniversary.  The year 2020 will be our Sesquarcentennial and the Mayor and Council have invited our Historical Committee to begin preparations for a year-long celebration!  To kick things off, we are inviting the public to create a logo.  The winning logo will be used by the Borough throughout the 350th Anniversary festivities.

The contest is open to all Eatontown residents.  The challenge is to design a logo that embodies the spirit of Eatontown.  Make sure it embraces our past and looks to the future.  The logo may be created in any two-dimensional medium.  The contest deadline has been extended. All entries must be received by Monday November 26th at 4pm.  Please bring your logo designs in a sealed envelope to the Recreation Office at Borough Hall – 47 Broad Street.

Logo requirements:

All artwork must be substantially original

Must have the words “Eatontown” and “350 Years”

Must be created in a two-dimensional medium.

The logo MUST fit to an 8.5” by 11” piece of paper.

DO NOT identify the artist on the front of the logo.  Affix an envelope to the back of the logo with the artist’s name inside and this completed form inside.

The winning logo will be displayed at Eatontown’s Tree Lighting and Community Sing and the artist will be awarded a prize of $350 which has been donated by a generous (and anonymous) donor.
