  • Records on File – Agendas and Minutes of Council Meetings, Resolutions, Ordinances, Legal Notices, Contracts, Oaths of Office, Other Official Documents. Most documents are available for public viewing and/or purchase of copies per Open Public Records Act
  • Licensing – Dog (1 year and 3 year dog licenses available), Garage Sales, Raffles, Liquor Licenses, Street Openings, Precious Metals, Coin Machines, Mobile Home Parks, Landlord/Tenant Registration, Boat Permits, and Backyard Chickens
  • Other Services – Voter Registration, Receiver of Services for Legal Documents, Assessment Searches


  • Please call 732-389-7601 to arrange an appointment for a marriage license application. The couple and a witness will need to be at the appointment and present valid, government issued photo ID and proof being Eatontown residents. The cost of the license is $28 cash, check or money order. 

  • Certified Copies are being processed via person or mail. To obtain a Certified Copy you must provide proof of relationship to the record. Certified Copies are $20 each (cash, check or money order). Please call 732-389-7601 with any questions or concerns.


  • For violations, inspections, and plan reviews, please call the Monmouth County Department of Health at 732-431-7456.
  • For Animal Control please call the SPCA at 732-542-0040
  • The Clerk’s Office also provides licenses for Food Establishments, Vending Machines, Public Pools, and Pet Shops/Kennels
