General Information

The Eatontown Municipal Band (EMB) of Monmouth County New Jersey is comprised of amateur and professional musicians who meet, practice and perform for the love of music. The band is about 45 musicians whose ages range from students in Junior High to retired folks. Band members include Eatontown residents as well as musicians from surrounding towns and beyond.

The band’s music consists of Marches, Classical, Holiday and Popular genres. The band performs a series of winter concerts at Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, along with concerts at nursing homes and senior villages. In the spring we perform two free concerts in Wampum Park.

The band is a non-profit and volunteer group. Members are not paid for their services. The band is funded by the Borough Recreation Department and donations are always accepted which help to defray some of our costs.

The band occasionally features guest conductors that are members of the band.
