PAYROLL & MUNICIPAL CLERK ASSISTANT- Eatontown, Monmouth County- full time position. Under the direction of the Chief Finance Officer and the Municipal Clerk performs various functions and activities of the offices. Duties include but are not limited to: Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 180 employees; must ensure confidentiality of essential payroll records and files, handle payroll related issues/questions. Maintains/analyzes health contributions, pension’s applications, timesheets, retirement plans, and employee benefits along with W-4 changes. Assisting with various budget reports and the annual audit. As municipal clerk assistant, job duties include tracking and responding to OPRA requests, licensing, performing duties of Alt. Deputy Registrar (certification required or willingness to obtain), filing, resident inquiries and other miscellaneous duties of the Clerk’s Office.  Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be computer/excel proficient and detail-oriented. Position is currently open – Applications must be received by 5/4/16.
