MayorDennisMayor’s Introduction

Greetings to all Eatontown residents. I wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope 2017 is filled with happiness, good health and prosperity. The Council and I are pleased to provide you with our annual Borough Calendar. This calendar is filled with scheduled events along with general information regarding Borough operations, contact information, services and town events. We do hope that you find it informative and useful throughout the year. Please be aware, that sometimes changes are made to scheduled events. To obtain the most up to date information, visit the Borough website at

I would like to say thank you to everyone that made my first 2 years as your Mayor so rewarding. I would especially like to thank Councilmen Kevin Gonzalez and Richard “Duke” Robinson for their past service to our town. I would also like to welcome our new council members Al Baginsky and Patti May. I wish them the best and look forward to working with them in our common goal to make Eatontown an even better town to call home.
Communication is a key element of good government. Our Borough has continued to improve in this field. Please take time to visit us on our website While you are there, sign up for our quarterly electronic newsletters which provides subscribers with brief updates of our town’s happenings. For more immediate updates, please “Like” us on our Facebook and follow us on Twitter (@BoroughofEatontown)! We are providing many ways to keep you informed and we are always happy to receive your thoughts in return.

This past year, Eatontown became the home of many new businesses. This positive economic growth appears to be continuing into 2017. Although it has been a slow process, we should begin to see the transfer of Ft. Monmouth properties to private developers in the early part of 2017.

I would like to take a moment to thank our Borough employees for doing a fantastic job keeping our town safe, clean, and a great place to live. Also, a special thank you to the many residents that volunteer their time on our Borough Committees, Boards, Fire Department, First Aid Squad and OEM. Our volunteer’s contributions to Eatontown are incredible and our town relies on their dedicated service. As everyone’s time is even more valuable in today’s world, we are always in need of even more volunteers. If you have a desire to get more involved in our town, please reach out to us! On behalf of the Council and myself, best wishes to you and your family in 2017! Thank you for allowing me to be your Mayor!
