Mayor's Introduction
Welcome to the Borough of Eatontown's website!
Slightly under 6 square miles in size with a population of about 12,000 people of varying ethnicities, you will find that Eatontown is diverse in many ways. Contained in its geographic boundaries is enough housing to accommodate: a 45 percent tenant population in attractive garden apartments, a 200 unit senior citizen housing facility and single family housing developments that can accommodate a wide spectrum of income levels.
We also have a commercial element that helps to provide one of the lowest stable tax rates in Monmouth County. This commercial ratable base is comprised of one of New Jersey's largest malls, Monmouth Mall, and a very successful corporate park.
Our kindergarten through eighth grade school system maintains four premier neighborhood schools. We have churches of varying denominations. There is also over 200 acres of Borough owned open space. The open space is distributed throughout the Borough in the form of: three major parks, an arboretum and wildlife sanctuary, a passive recreation park with a lake, and several mini-parks and tot lots.
All of these factors come together to provide a better quality of life for our residents.
We pride ourselves in our well-planned community that is graced with so many natural attributes and welcome your inquiries as to how you can become an Eatontown resident. Call me at 732-389-7623 or email me at Mayor@EatontownNJ.com and I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about all Eatontown has to offer.
