DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS – Borough of Eatontown, Monmouth County.  Reporting to the Borough Administrator, this individual will oversee day to day operations of Streets and Roads, Public Parks and Shade Tree, Mechanical, Sanitation, Recycling, Building Maintenance and other related divisions.  Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in the operation of Municipal Public Works.  Experience with union environment is preferable; a Certified Public Works Managers Certificate preferred.  In lieu of the previous qualifications the applicant may substitute a BS or MS in Civil Engineering with a minimum of two years experience and training to perform the duties of this position or shall hold a valid professional engineer’s license issued by the State of New Jersey.  Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with other departments and all levels of employees and management is required. Duties include municipal budget development, administration, and personnel management.  Applicants must possess a valid NJ Driver’s License.  Applications must be received by 7/29/16.
